Use the template
Copy or download the plain Markdown template and replace the prompts with project decisions. Mark unknowns as questions with an owner and due date; don't let assumptions silently become requirements.
Project scope and users
Record the business outcome, target locations, launch date, and what is out of scope. Identify customer, staff, manager, and administrator roles, including the data each may view or change.
Booking and operations
Specify services, eligible staff/resources, duration, buffers, working hours, time off, booking window, cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, time-zone behavior, notifications, payments, reporting, and integrations. Note provider dependencies and who owns them.
Security, deployment, and acceptance
Document authentication, tenant boundaries, authorization, data retention, backups, migration/rollback, environments, monitoring, and incident ownership. Write acceptance criteria that can be demonstrated, including conflict and permission tests.
Printable and downloadable copy
Use Print / Save PDF for a clean worksheet. The downloadable file is a generic planning resource and contains no BDS paid source code.
